FAQ

Common questions about our membership model and patient care.

We do not accept insurance of any kind. Insurance creates a huge barrier to appropriate care. It is fundamentally build on an illness model, not a health model, and that creates a tremendous conflict of interest.

We strongly believe that "You're working for whoever pays ya", and as a result, the insurance model of primary care leads to worse care because the doctor is effectively working for the insurance company, not the patient.

We work exclusively for our patients and represent only their interests; we do not take a single dollar from insurance.

Concierge Medicine is a way of structuring healthcare that aligns the interests of doctors and patients by incentivizing health. There isn't one exact definition, but the basic deal is this — you pay a set yearly fee, and in return, you get taken care of by a doctor who takes care of you the way it's supposed to be done.

This creates a context that promotes better care, without outside influences. Our independence from third-party requirements is our greatest asset, and allows us to fulfill RiverRock's mission – uncompromising focus on maximizing health.

We accept a maximum of 50 paying patients plus 10 pro-bono patients per physician. The average primary care doctor has 2500 - 3000 patients on their panel. We get to know you and your dreams at a level of detail that is unimaginable in an insurance-based model.

This allows us to practice medicine like it's never been done before. Learn about our approach

If you can't afford RiverRock membership, feel free to ask if we have any charity spots available - sales@riverrockmedical.com

No. Previously, tax laws regarding concierge fees were ambiguous. However, recent federal legislation (2026) has clarified the landscape by establishing strict fee caps for HSA eligibility that exclude comprehensive concierge services.

Because RiverRock’s level of service and access exceeds these federal limits, our membership is definitively excluded from HSA eligibility and is not a tax-deductible medical expense.
